Linsevikke (Vicia ervilia) er ein art i erteblomfamilien og blir nytta som matplante.

Linsevikke i den kongelege botaniske hagen i Madrid.

Ville stammar av linsevikke er avgrensa til eit område som omfattar Anatolia og nordlege Irak med ei utviding sørover langs fjella i Libanon. Spor av dei tidlegaste domestiserte tilfella er blitt avdekte frå fleire arkeologiske funnstader i Tyrkia som er tidfesta med ubekrefta karbondatering til dei 7. og 6. tusenåra f.Kr.[1]

Planten var ein av dei åtte grunnplantane i jordbruksrevolusjonen, og har vore viktig for sivilisasjonane rundt Middelhavet. Frukta eignar seg spesielt godt som fôr for sau og storfe.[2]

Blomane er kvite med svake lilla nervetråd-teikningar. Frøa i belgfrukta kan minna om raude linser, og for å eta perlebelgfrøea må desse kokast i fleire omgangar for å fjerna ein elles bitter smak.

På engelsk blir planten kallas for bitter vetch, på arabisk kersannah, spansk yero, gresk rovi og tyrkisk burcak.[3] Næringsverdien frå linsevikke har garantert framleis kultivering i Marokko, Spania og Tyrkia. Planten er enkel å kultivera og hausta, og kan bli dyrka på svært grunn, alkalisk jord. Det er restriksjonar i innførsel av linsevikke til Noreg.
