Endokrinologi

Endokrinologi (dari endokrin + -dengan perkembangan teknologi maklumat) ialah cabang dari biologi dan perubatan digabungkan dengan sistem endokrin, penyakit, dan rembesan tertentu dikenali sebagai hormon. Ia juga mengambil berat dengan iperistiwa perkembangan senjata integrasi, pertumbuhan, dan pengukur, dan psikologi atau tingkah laku aktiviti metabolisme, pertumbuhan dan pembangunan, fungsi tisu, tidur, pencernaan, respirasi, penyingkiran, mud, tekanan, laktasi, pergerakan, pembiakan, dan persepsi deria disebabkan oleh hormon. Pengkhususan termasuk tingkah laku endokrinologi[1][2][3] dan perbandingan endokrinologi.

Sistem endokrin terdiri dari beberapa kelenjar, semua di berbagai belahan badan, ia merembeskan hormon secara langsung ke dalam darah dan bukannya ke dalam sistem saluran. Hormon mempunyai banyak fungsi yang berbeza dan mod tindakan; satu hormon mungkin mempunyai beberapa kesan pada sasaran organ-organ yang berbeza, dan sebaliknya, satu sasaran organ boleh dipengaruhi oleh lebih dari satu hormon.
