Civilinė metrikacija

Civilinė metrikacija – civilinės būklės aktų valstybinė registracija.[1] Aktuose paprastai nurodoma: gimimo liudijimuose – asmens gimimo, santuokos ar mirties data, vardas, pavardė, gimimo vieta, santuokos liudijimuose – susituokiančių asmenų civilinis statusas, jų amžius ir parašai, mirties liudijimuose – mirusiojo amžius ir palaidojimo data bei vieta.

Istorija

Pirmieji valstybiniai civilinės būklės aktai – santuokos – pradėti registruoti XVI a. pabaigoje Nyderlanduose. Labiau jie paplito Europos valstybėse po Didžiosios Prancūzijos revoliucijos. Kai kuriose valstybėse ji tapo privaloma, kitose veikė greta bažnyčiose registruotų metrikų.

Lietuvoje

Lietuvoje iki 1940 m. metrikus tvarkė ir saugojo Bažnyčia pagal 1927 m. pasirašytą konkordatą su Vatikanu. Klaipėdos krašte nuo 1876 m. iki 1923 m. aktus registravo civilinės būklės aktų registravimo įstaiga. Sovietinės okupacijos metu civilinės būklės aktus registravo miestų ir rajonų civilinės metrikacijos skyriai. Atkūrus Lietuvos valstybingumą civilinės būklės aktus pavesta tvarkyti vietos savivaldybėms, seniūnijoms bei konsulinėms įstaigoms. Civilinę metrikaciją reglamentuoja 2000 m. priimtas Lietuvos Respublikos civilinis kodeksas, kiti poįstatyminiai aktai.
