D'Objeten (241418) Darmstadt,[2] (263932) Speyer[3] a (243536) Mannheim[4] huet hien op den Observatoire vun der Tzec Maun foundation zu Mayhill (USA) respektiv Moorook (Australien) entdeckt.

Op Virschlag vum spueneschen Observatorio de La Sagra gouf den Asteroid 185638 nom Erwin Schwab genannt.
