ბიოგრაფია

მისი ნამდვილი სახელი იყო იპოლიტი, თუმცა მას სახლში პოლს ეძახდნენ, ამიტომაც მას ეს სახელი შერჩა თანამედროვე ხელოვნების ისტორიაში. მისი მამა სურათების ექსპერტი იყო, ხოლო მისი ბიძა მუშაობდა პარიზის საგამომცემლო ბიბლიოთეკაში. ასე რომ, მომავალი მხატვარი, პოლ დელაროში მხატვრულ გარემოცვაში დაიბადა და შესაძლოა ამასაც უნდა უმადლოდეს თავის შემდგომ წარმატებებს.
