1967年の読売ジャイアンツでは、1967年の読売ジャイアンツにおける動向をまとめる。

この年の読売ジャイアンツは、川上哲治監督の7年目のシーズンであり、V9の3年目のシーズンである。

概要

前年連覇を達成し、この年も3連覇を狙う川上監督は西鉄から高倉照幸と田中久寿男を、広島から森永勝也をトレードで獲得して打線を強化。戦力面では前年限りで引退した広岡達朗に代わって黒江透修が遊撃手のレギュラーを獲得し、柴田勲と1・2番コンビを形成。投手陣では前年新人王の堀内恒夫が若干成績を落としたが、城之内邦雄や金田正一、渡辺秀武などが例年通りの活躍を見せた。新戦力の投入で層が厚くなったチームは5月と8月に12連勝を2度記録するなど中日・阪神といったライバル球団を寄せ付けず、2位中日に12ゲーム差をつけて3年連続リーグ優勝を達成。日本シリーズは南海や西鉄といった常連に代わって阪急との対決となり第3戦まで3連勝して王手をかけるが、その後連敗。第6戦では長嶋茂雄や王貞治など打線の活躍もあり9対3で阪急を下し、3年連続の日本一を達成した。打撃陣は王が47本塁打・108打点の二冠王でMVPを、柴田が70盗塁で2年連続の盗塁王をそれぞれ獲得するなど絶好調で、チーム本塁打とチーム盗塁数はリーグ1位で、失策数も91でリーグ1位と断トツだった。投手陣も金田が16勝で復活するなど、チーム防御率2.87でリーグ2位と好調だった。
