1 Raja-raja 6 (atau I Raja-raja 6, disingkat 1Raj 6) adalah pasal keenam Kitab 1 Raja-raja dalam Alkitab Ibrani dan Perjanjian Lama di Alkitab Kristen. Dalam Alkitab Ibrani termasuk Nabi-nabi Awal atau Nevi'im Rishonim [נביאים ראשונים] dalam bagian Nevi'im (נביאים; Nabi-nabi).[1] Pasal ini berisi catatan sejarah mengenai pemerintahan raja Salomo di Kerajaan Israel.[2]

Ayat 1

Dan terjadilah pada tahun keempat ratus delapan puluh sesudah orang Israel keluar dari tanah Mesir, pada tahun keempat sesudah Salomo menjadi raja atas Israel, dalam bulan Ziw, yakni bulan yang kedua, maka Salomo mulai mendirikan rumah bagi TUHAN. (TB)[4]

Ayat ini sangat penting untuk menentukan tanggal keluarnya Israel dari Mesir. Menurut kronologi yang disusun oleh Edwin R. Thiele,[5] dan direvisi oleh McFall,[6] tahun keempat pemerintahan Salomo berlangsung dari September 968 SM sampai September 967 SM. Pada bulan Nisan (bulan pertama) tahun yang sama (April 967 SM) orang Israel memperingati permulaan tahun ke-480 sejak leluhur mereka keluar dari Mesir, yang terjadi pada bulan April 1446 SM.[7] Pada tahun itu juga pada bulan Ziw (bulan kedua) Salomo mulai membangun Bait Suci (Mei 967 M). Tarikh-tarikh ini ditetapkan dengan cara menggabungkan data alkitabiah dengan catatan kronologis Asyur.[3] Lihat pula Kisah Para Rasul 13:19–20).[3]

Dalam tahun yang keempat, dalam bulan Ziw, diletakkanlah dasar rumah TUHAN, (TB)[8]
  • "Dalam tahun yang ke-4": Menurut kronologi Thiele,[5] tahun keempat pemerintahan Salomo berlangsung dari September 968 SM sampai September 967 SM.[7] Pada tahun itu juga pada bulan Ziw (bulan kedua) Salomo mulai membangun Bait Suci (Mei 967 M).[5]

Ayat 38

Dan dalam tahun yang kesebelas, dalam bulan Bul, yaitu bulan kedelapan, selesailah rumah itu dengan segala bagian-bagiannya dan sesuai dengan segala rancangannya; jadi tujuh tahun lamanya ia mendirikan rumah itu. (TB)[9]
