דניאל סגל (באנגלית: Daniel Segal‏; נולד ב-26 באוקטובר 1947[1]) הוא מתמטיקאי בריטי המכהן כפרופסור למתמטיקה באוניברסיטת אוקספורד[2]. הוא חוקר בכיר באול סולס קולג'. מתמחה באלגברה ובתורת החבורות.

נולד בשנת 1947 לפסיכואנליטיקאית חנה סגל ולמתמטיקאי פול סגל, בן שני במשפחה של שלושה בנים.

בתחילה למד בפיטרהאוס קולג' באוניברסיטת קיימברידג' ואת הדוקטורט שלו קיבל באוניברסיטת לונדון בשנת 1972.

בשנת 1982 זכה בפרס אדמס המוענק על ידי הפקולטה למתמטיקה של אוניברסיטת קיימברידג' למתמטיקאים צעירים, תושבי הממלכה המאוחדת עבור מחקר מתמטי בינלאומי ממדרגה ראשונה.

בשנת 2012 זכה בפרס פוליה המוענק על ידי החברה המתמטית של לונדון.

סגל היה המנחה לדוקטורט של מרכוס דו סוטוי.
