Santa María de Xanza é unha parroquia que se localiza no concello de Valga. Segundo o IGE,[2] en 2022 tiña 917 habitantes (457 homes e 460 mulleres).

Patrimonio

A igrexa de Santa María de Xanza, mandada construír polo arcebispo Diego Xelmírez no século XI, ten planta de nave única e ábsida rectangular. A pesar das remodelacións conserva a estrutura orixinal románica.
