A Sociedade Numismática Finlandesa (en finés: Suomen Numismaatikkoliitto ry) é unha entidade asociativa fundada en 1970 que agrupa as 23 asociacións numismáticas de carácter local existentes en Finlandia.[1][2]

O seu presidente é Erkki Lähderanta.[3]

Actividade

A súa misión principal é a defensa das asociacións que forman parte dela e a promoción da investigación en materia numismática.[1] Consonte os seus estatutos, as actuacións da Sociedade van encamiñadas a:[4]

  • Apoio a actividades de investigación.
  • Participación en actividades educativas, mediante exposicións e publicacións.
  • Participación no proceso de decisión do deseño e a fabricación dos instrumentos de pagamento en Finlandia.
  • Mantemento de contacos coas administracións.
  • Mantemento de contactos entre as asociacións que a compoñen, así como con outras sociedades estranxeiras.
  • Organización de exposicións numismáticas.
  • Promoción da arte da medalla.

A sociedade edita a revista Numismaatikko, con periodicidade bimensual, onde se publican artigos sobre diversos aspectos da numismática e na que se inclúen as listaxes de lotes das poxas promovidas pola Sociedade.[5]
