Mike Wilds (nado o 7 de xaneiro de 1946 en Chiswick, Londres) é un ex piloto de carreiras de Inglaterra. Participou en oito Grandes Premios do Campionato Mundial de Fórmula Un, debutou o 20 de xullo de 1974. Non anotou puntos de campionato.

Logo de gañar algunhas carreiras en Fórmula 3 a principios dos 70, Wilds trasladouse á Fórmula 5000. Ao mesmo tempo, participou nalgúns Grandes Premios de Fórmula Un, primeiro cun March privado, logo cun Ensign e BRM. Despois de que non cualificar no Gran Premio de casa, cun Shadow privado, concentrouse noutras categorías do deporte de motor, incluíndo as carreiras de coches deportivos e carreiras históricas.

Wilds gañou a clase da Fórmula Dúas no Campionato Aurora AFX de 1978, pilotando un Ralt e terminou noveno na clasificación xeral.[1] Tamén gañou o campionato de coches deportivos Thoroughbred (pura sangre) en 1984 pilotando un Aston Martin DB4.[2]

Wilds gañou o campionato RJB Mining Historic Sports Car en 1992, '93, '96 e 98.[2]

A andaina de carreiras de autos deportivos de Wilds incluíu pilotar en Le Mans 8 veces, incluíndo os coches C2 de Ecurie Ecosse (Campión do Mundo C2, 1986), e Grupo C con Nissan en 1988 co seu compañeiro Win Percy.

Wilds gañou o 2008 Campionato de pilotos Britcar xunto con Ian Lawson e o fillo de Mike, Anthony Wilds no ING Sport BMW. O equipo tamén volveu gañar outra vez en 2013 e tamén gañou en 2008 o Grupo C Enduro Trophy no Porsche 962 con Henry Pearman.

Aínda pilota de cando en vez en eventos para coches históricos. Competiu cun Porsche 962 e un Elva Mk5 no Silverstone Classic de 2008. Volveu á grella da Britcar Endurance en maio de 2016 logrando a súa primeira vitoria como unidade compartida co seu fillo Anthony nun Ferrari 458.[3]

Ademais da súa andaina nas carreiras de coches, Wilds é un piloto activo e instrutor de helicópteros comerciais. é afectuosamente coñecido como 'The Honorific' Mike Wilds. [Cómpre referencia]
