Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock (myös nimellä Guitar Hero 6) on jatko-osa Guitar Hero 5:lle. Se julkaistiin syyskuussa 2010 PlayStation 3:lle, Xbox 360:lle ja Wiille.

Pelissä on yli 90 kappaletta sekä ladattavaa lisämateriaalia. Pelin suunnittelussa ovat olleet mukana Dave Mustaine sekä Gene Simmons, joka myös antoi äänensä pelissä esiintyvälle Demigod of Rockille.

Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock sai kriitikoilta vaihtelevia arvosteluja. Suurin osa kriitikoista mielsi Warriors of Rockin yritykseksi irtautua sen kilpailijasta Rock Band -pelisarjasta ja palata Guitar Hero -sarjan juurille.[11][8] Joidenkin kriitikoiden mielestä Warriors of Rock ei kuitenkaan täyttänyt tätä yritystä. IGN:n Arthur Giesin mielestä peli oli "päämäärätön", jättäen kysymyksen: "miksi Warriors of Rock on edes täällä".[11] Tyler Cocke 1UP.com-sivustolta kommentoi, että Warriors of Rock näyttää unohtaneen, että musiikkipelien tarkoitus on pitää hauskaa.[7] Ben Kurchera Ars Technica katsoi Warriors of Rockin polkevan paikallaan, ja että siitä puuttuu sitä jotakin verrattuna alkuaikojen Guitar Hero -peleihin.[13] Muut arvostelijat huomauttivat, että peli on suunnattu ennemminkin pelisarjan faneille, eikä se sovi uusille tai satunnaisille pelaajille. Matt Helgeson Game Informerista totesi pelin grafiikan ja pelattavuuden olleen typerä, mutta silti tarjonneen miellyttävän pelikokemuksen.[10]
