Givetiarra Denoviar Ertaina osatzen duten bi estaietako bat da. Orain dela 387,95 milioi urte hasi zen eta orain dela 382,31 milioi urte amaitu zen. Aurrekoa Eifeliarra izan zen eta ondorengoa Frasniarra. Frantziako Givet herriaren izena darama. Givetiar estaian sortu ziren ezagutzen ditugun basorik zaharrenak[1][2]. GSSPren marka Jebel Mech Irdanen, dago, Tafilalten (Maroko).
