Gloria Jean Watkins (naskiĝis la 25-an de septembro 1952 - la 15-an de decembro 2021)[1], pli bone konata laŭ sia plumnomo bell hooks,[2] estas usona aŭtoro, feministo, kaj socia aktivisto. La nomo "bell hooks" estas deriva el tiu de ŝia patrinflanka pra-praavino, Bell Blair Hooks.[3]
Bell hooks referas al kultura varigado kiel "la manĝado de la aliulo." Per tio ŝi signifas, ke kulturaj esprimoj de premata grupo, inkluzive de revoluciemaj esprimoj elpensitaj por kontraŭstari aŭ travivi premadon, povas esti varigitaj de la dominanta, premanta kulturo kaj vendataj al aliaj anoj de tiu kulturo.
