Alfredo ORMANDO (naskiĝis la 15-an de decembro 1958 en Messina, mortis la 23-an de januaro 1998 en Romo) estis samseksama itala teologo kaj verkisto. Li bruligis sin la 13-an de januaro 1998 sur la Petroplaco, por protesti kontraŭ la sinteno de la rom-katolika eklezio kontraŭ la samseksamo. Li mortis 11 tagojn poste je la brulvundoj.

En letero skribita en Palermo Kristnaske 1997 li diris:

„ Mi esperas, ke ili ekkomprenos kion mi volus komuniki: tio estas formo de protesto kontraŭ Eklezio, kiu demonigas samsekseco, tiel demonige naturon - ĉar samsekseco estas ĝia filino. Mi petegas pardonon, ke mi naskiĝis, ke mi ektoksigis aeron per mia spirado, sama aero, kiun Vi spiradas, ke mi ekkuraĝis juĝi, ke mi estas libera homo, ke mi ne akceptis opinion, ke mi estas alia ol Vi, ke laŭ mi samsekseco estis produkto de la Patrino Naturo, pro tio ke mi fartis egala kun aliseksemuloj, ke mi volis esti verkisto, ke mi revis kaj ridis.[1] ”

Kiel substrekas Fabrizio Marrazzo, prezidanto de Arcigay, itala GLAT-organizo, kiu ĉiujare organizas la manifestaciojn memorigantajn pri premiso de Ormando, Vatikano neniel neniam ne difinis sian rilaton pri tio evento[2].
