• Hi again. I hate to bother you, but I do have a few followups, and unfortunately if you do not explain them, we might have to block. File:Allan.Peiper.AUS Ballarat 2009.jpg, which you uploaded on Commons you claim to be your own work. Now, I can't find another version of it on the internet, but it looks like it was an image of him taken in private while he was doing some event. This to me suggests one of two things: it is either a copyright violation that you did not take, so it needs to be marked as such on Commons, or you know him either personally or professionally and took the picture yourself and uploaded it. If you are his employee or contractor, it might also be copyright even then if you took it yourself, depending on your agreement. Finally, you really do need to disclose what your relationship is to Mr. Peiper and if he or someone else has paid you to edit his article. Please do not edit again until you have done so. Tony. I took a lot of photos - at a championship cycle race (Australia) in Ballarat in 2009. I have not used that picture (of Allan Peiper) anywhere online. Allan, nor BMC AG are employed by me, nor am I employed by them. If the allegations are from yourself, I'd expect a greater degree of common sense. No one has paid me to do anything. I know Allan well enough to say hello. He is, or was, a famous cyclist, so yes, I was a fan of his ability, hence the photo taking. I also photographed the team riders he was working with, that day. I'm not involved in any edit war, as you describe. A simple polite "message" to a new person, would have helped and been sufficient. My annoyance, was borne out of "work in progress" which you kindly explained, could be solved by work elsewhere (sandbox). As a new person, albeit, a previous wiki person (PDM88) I'd simply forgotten about. It appears "the rules" are instigated as appropriate, by others with admin power, which is fine. It's how the manner, in which it is unleashed, and wielded, which, is what, I would question. You mention the judgement of three maybe four editors, in which i refer to the above point..... a question regarding the sources of material for verification of edits, re cycling related pages, etc. I have found that many online databases, are not so accurate. I have some published volumes of cycling teams, riders, and races, that span the years between 1972-2008. They are UCI published and endorsed volumes. I have not found these listed when I've tried inputting the ISBN numbers, searching for a published book reference. The only book links I have found, re these volumes, are of a US commercial online business, and I'd rather not promote or incur the wrath of wiki keyboard ninja warriors!

Yes, locating them in an online database would be ideal, but physical books can be cited using Template:cite book. What are the bibliographic details of the volumes? title(s), publisher name, publication date(s), ISBN numbers? Let me know if you have further questions.
