This article consists of gossip, hearsay, malicious intent, and outright wrong information. I retrieved this article because I searched informations about the majority owner of RHI Magnesita (shareholder since 2006). This is interesting as Ignite Luxembourg is getting involved nowadays. I did not only get NO information, no, RHI Magnesita was not even mentioned at all in the article. But I found a lot of speculations about Schlaff's role in the oil and gas business, that's all fictitious. I do not have the time to repair and correct all mistakes, but I will delete the worst parts, i.e. the stories about the bribes he supposedly distributed all over Israel. This is only defamatory and pure speculation. He never stood before a criminal court, he was never indicted and never convicted. In some of the sources he is not even mentioned. This version of the article suggests that Schlaff and his Stasi friends stole 170 million DM. All allegations, no proof. After researching a bit I found out that it was the other way round: Germany unlawfully blocked 83,8 million DM from Schlaff’s business deals in Eastern Germany. After four years of litigation a Swiss court ruled that Germany had to unblock the 83,8 millions as Schlaff had delivered the merchandise and had a legal claim to be paid. Germany did not even seek an appeal after the 500-page-verdict was presented - and transferred the money. Years later, Bernd Schmidbauer offered his excuses. I will correct all mistakes.
