23 September – A Venezuelan court issues arrest warrants against president Milei, his sister and adviser Karina Milei and Security Minister Patricia Bullrich over the seizure of a Venezuelan aircraft in Buenos Aires due to sanctions violations. The warrant is followed by an arrest order from a federal court in Buenos Aires against Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello and several other officials for crimes against humanity.[28]
