Liomera ist eine Gattung der Rundkrabben mit 31 rezenten Arten.[1] Sie besiedeln die Gezeitenzone und den Schelf in Tiefen zwischen 0 und 144 m im Indopazifik sowie in der gemäßigten Klimazone im Süden Afrikas und Australiens.[2]
Merkmale
Der Carapax ist bis zu 32 mm lang und stark konvex. Die Stirn ragt nicht nach vorn über. Die Scherenbeine sind ungleich groß. Die Schreitbeine sind kurz und kräftig und haben keine Einrastfunktion zwischen Propodus und Dactylus. Der Merus des letzten Schreitbeins ist weniger als dreimal so lang wie breit.[2]
