Antonio Riva (Baumeister)

St. Georg in Freising

Antonio Riva (* 1650 in Roveredo, Graubünden; † 29.

Chemical reaction that attaches an acetyl group to a compound Salicylic acid is acetylated to form aspirin In chemistry, acetylation is an organic esterification reaction with acetic acid. It introduces an acetyl group into a chemical compound. Such compounds are termed acetate esters or simply acetates. The practice of removing a portion of an animal's ears or tail For ear cropping, see Cropping (animal). Docking is the intentional removal of part of an animal's tail or, sometimes, ears. The term cropping is more commonly used in reference to the cropping of ears, while docking more commonly—but not exclusively—refers to the tail; the term tailing is used, also. The term has its origins in the living flesh of the tail, commonly known as the dock, from which the animal's tail hairs grow. ...
