Happy First Edit Day! Hi DatGuy! On behalf of the Birthday Committee, I'd like to wish you a very happy anniversary of the day you made your first edit and became a Wikipedian! Thanks much for fixing my filter. I always run the standard tests on them before I save, but the tests missed that mistake. No worries. You might like to use SoY's batchtest-plus if you don't already; it adds a 'FP check' that tests against Special:AbuseFilter/1201 for false positives. DatGuyTalkContribs21:58, 23 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"20241123215800","author":"DatGuy","type":"comment","level":2,"id":"c-DatGuy-20241123215800-Ohnoitsjamie-20241123215200","replies":["c-Ohnoitsjamie-20241123220700-DatGuy-20241123215800"]}}-->
Yes, that's the one I used! If I recall correctly, it had one 1/99 hits, which isn't unusual for that filter. I should've looked at that one hit more closely. DreamRimmer said you were working on an alternative to Fastily Bot. I review a lot of PROD'd articles and files and we have a number of older editors who don't use Twinkle when they tag articles for deletion so we relied on Fastily Bot to notify content creators that their article creations had been nominated for proposed deletion.
Is there any progress on a bot to take the place of Fastily Bot? Over the past few years, I have tried all of my powers of persuasion to convince these PROD-taggers to make use of Twinkle but they prefer to tag articles manually so we really need some bot to take care of Fastily Bot's task. Thank you for any help you can provide. Heya @Liz: I filed the BRFA 9 days ago and completed the trial five days ago. Pending a BAG member to approve the task and then should be good to go. Hi DatGuy. Would it be possible for DatBot to archive AIV requests if the user has been globally blocked or locked? Thanks. I'd rather Mdann52 adds it to User:HBC AIV helperbot14. Matt: you can use list=globalallusers via enwiki or list=logevents&leaction=globalauth/setstatus via metawiki for accounts and list=globalblocks for IPs. Following an RFC, the policy on restoration of adminship has been updated. All former administrators may now only regain the tools following a request at the Wikipedia:Bureaucrats' noticeboard within 5 years of their most recent admin action. Previously this applied only to administrators deysopped for inactivity.
Following a request for comment, a new speedy deletion criterion, T5, has been enacted. This applies to template subpages that are no longer used.
