阳江核电站位于中国广东省阳江市东平镇，是中国广东核电集团在广东省的第二个核电基地，是中国“十一五”期间核准开工建设的核电项目之一，于2008年12月16日开工，项目总投资金额约700亿元人民币，共建设六台核电机组。现由阳江核电有限公司负责建设及运营。

历史

阳江核电站1号机组主体工程2008年12月16日开工，经过5年的工程建设，目前已进入移交接产和生产准备阶段，计划2013年并网发电；2号机组2009年6月4日开工，目前进入设备安装和调试阶段，2013年实现冷试；3号机组2010年11月15日开工，2012年6月9日完成核岛穹顶吊装，目前进入设备安装和调试阶段；4号机组2012年11月17日开工是自日本福岛核事故以后中国恢复建设后的首台核电机组；5号机组争取2013年实现开工。目前，阳江核电站整体安全质量状况良好，工程建设、移交接产、工业安全总体稳定，各项指标均处于受控状态。阳江核电站2012年完成投资125亿人民币，累计完成投资365亿元人民币。[2]

2013年12月31日12时40分，随着并网指令发出，中广核阳江核电站1号机组主控室内大屏幕上显示机组已进入带负荷运行状态，标志着该机组首次顺利并网成功，进入商运前试运行阶段。[3]

而阳江核电1号机组在2014年3月25日完成168小时示范运行，具备商业运行条件，同日正式投入商业运行[4]。2号机组于2015年6月5日正式投入商运；3号机组于2016年1月1日正式投入商运；4号机组于2017年3月15日正式投入商运；5号、6号机组工程建设按计划推进。[5]

2017年12月，中華電力向中廣核購入本核電站17%權益，並於同月13日成交。

2020年3月，受毛蝦入侵影響，陽江核電站一度停堆。[6]

环保效益

阳江核电厂六台机组建成后年发电量480亿千瓦时，与同等规模的化石能源相比，相当于减少标煤消耗1497万吨、二氧化碳排放3923万吨、二氧化硫排放12.7万吨、氮氧化物排放11万吨，相当于造林9.7万公顷。[14]
