獸型類（拉丁語：Theriiformes）是一種哺乳類的演化支。這個概念最先由 Timothy B. Rowe 在他的博士論文裏提出^[1]，又有在1997年由 McKenna & Bell 寫的論文裏提及到^[2]。獸型類一般定義是異獸亞綱^[a]和獸亞綱^[b]最近代的共同祖先^[3]。對於比較接近獸亞綱而不是多瘤齒獸目的哺乳類，他們一般都會屬於枝獸類^[4]。因為多瘤齒獸目一般比單孔目更接近獸亞綱，所以屬於哺乳類的冠群^[5]。
