Fritaun
Fritaun — Syerra-Leone poytaxti. Vestern Erio yarim orolning shimoliy chekkasida joylashgan. Aholisi 670 ming kishi (1990-yillar oʻrtalari). Fritaun — mamlakatning savdosanoat va moliyaviy markazi. Atlantika okeani sohilidagi yirik port, chetga palma yongʻogʻi, moyi, kakao va olmos chiqariladi. Kema verfi, olmosga sayqal berish fabrikasi, shakarqand, kislorod, sement, neftni qayta ishlash zavodlari mavjud. Universitet, kollejlar, milliy muzey, kutubxonalar bor. Shaharga 1792-yilda inglizlar tomonidan asos solingan. 1961-yil 27-apreldan mustakil SyerraLeone davlati poytaxti.[1]
