Peradectidae — родина дрібних метатерійних ссавців, яка охоплює період від палеоцену (або, можливо, останньої крейди) до міоцену. Скам'янілості відомі з Північної півкулі, включаючи Європу, Азію та Північну Америку. Монофілія групи була поставлена під сумнів, і деякі автори припускають, що Peradectes повинен бути єдиним родом, включеним у родину[1]. Вважається, що морфологія перадектидів подібна до опосумів[2]. Філогенетичний аналіз показує, що вони менш тісно пов'язані з сучасними сумчастими, ніж Herpetotheriidae[3].
