Frank Giroud (3 Mayıs 1956 – 13 Temmuz 2018), Fransız çizgi romancıdır.

Yaşamı

Giroud, Fransa'nın Toulouse kentinde 3 Mayıs 1956'da doğdu.[1][2][3] École Nationale des Chartes'tan mezun oldu ve tarihten sonra çizgi roman yayınlamaya başladı.[1][2] Giroud, Milano ve Grenoble'da tarih dersleri verdi.[1][2]

Giroud çizgi roman yazarı olarak en aşina çalışması Jean-Paul Dethorey'in çizdiği “Louis la Guigne” adlı çizgi romanıydı.[1] Ayrıca Barly Baruti'nin çizdiği “Mandrill” 'in yanı sıra Christian Lax tarafından çizilen “Oubliés d’Annam” ve “Azrayen” eserleri içinde yazdı.[1][3] Ayrıca 2000 yılında, Glénat Editions tarafından yayınlanan “Le Décalogue” adlı eseri yarattı.[1][2]

Giroud, 2002 yılında En İyi Uluslararası Yazar dalında Max & Moritz Ödülü'ne layık görüldü.[1][3]

Fransız çizgi roman yazarı Giroud 13 Temmuz 2018'de 62 yaşında öldü.[1][2][3]
