David Copperfield (doğum David Seth Kotkin, 16 Eylül 1956), Emmy Ödülü sahibi Yahudi kökenli[1] Amerikalı illüzyonist. Forbes tarafından tarihin ticari anlamda en başarılı sihirbazı olarak tanımlandı.[2]

Kökeni

David Seth Kotkin ismiyle New Jersey, Metuchen'de[3] Yahudi[1] bir ailenin oğlu olarak doğdu. Copperfield'ın annesi Kudüs'te doğmuş bir Aşkenazi Yahudisi, baba tarafından büyükbabası ise SSCB'den (bugünkü Ukrayna) ABD'ye göçen Yahudi göçmenlerdi.[4][5][6]
