Cel

Cel Etrüsk mitolojisindeki toprak tanrıçasıdır. Etrüsk takviminde, Celi (Eylül) büyük olasılıkla onun için adlandırılmıştır.[1] Yunan muadili Gaia ve Romalı Tellus'tur.

Etrüsk mitolojisinde Cel, Devlerin annesiydi. Yunancada "dev", "Gaia'dan doğmuş" anlamına gelir.[2][3]

Trasimeno Gölü yakınlarındaki bir kutsal alanda Cel Ati yani "Cel Anne" adıyla adanmış, erkek ve kadın beş adet adak bronz heykelciği bulunmuştur.[4]

Cel, Etrüsk haruspisi uygulaması için işaretlenmiş bir karaciğerin bronz modeli olan Piacenza'nın Karaciğeri üzerinde görünür. Ev 13'e yerleştirilir.
