Çobankaya, Çorum ilinin Kargı ilçesine bağlı bir köydür.

Tarihçe

Köyün adı, 1919 yılı kayıtlarında Vahşiler, 1925 yılı kayıtlarında ise Bahşılar olarak geçmektedir.[5] 1936 yılı kayıtlarında Vahşili adıyla geçen köy, daha önceleri Boyabat ilçesine bağlıyken, 28 Temmuz 1936'da Kargı ilçesine bağlandı.[6]

Köy, Çorum il merkezine 147 km, Kargı ilçe merkezine 31 km uzaklıktadır.[7]
