Ang Lalawigan ng Timog Cerdeña o Sardinia (Italyano: Provincia del Sud Sardegna) ay isang Italyanong lalawigan ng Cerdeña na itinatag noong Pebrero 4, 2016. Kasama rito ang mga binuwag na lalawigan ng Carbonia-Iglesias at Medio Campidano, isang malaking bahagi ng dating Lalawigan ng Cagliari (hindi kasama ang 17 munisipalidad ng bagong Kalakhang Lungsod), at dalawa pang munisipalidad.[1]

Teritoryo

Ang lalawigan ay sumasakop sa katimugang bahagi ng Cerdeña at may hangganan sa timog sa Kalakhang Lungsod ng Cagliari, sa hilagang-silangan sa Lalawigan ng Nuoro, at sa hilagang-kanluran sa Lalawigan ng Oristano.

Kasaysayan

Itinatag ang Timog Cerdeña bilang resulta ng repormang batas ng mga lalawigan sa Cerdeña (Batas Rehiyonal 2/2016).[2] Kapag naisagawa na, isasama ang malaking bahagi ng heyograpikong rehiyon ng Campidano, ang Sarrabus-Gerrei, ang Trexenta, at ang Sulcis-Iglesiente . Ang kabesera ng probinsiya ay tutukuyin ng unang konsehong panlalawigan, gayundin ng batas ng institusyon.
