Clarence Seedorf, född 1 april 1976 i Paramaribo, Surinam, är en nederländsk fotbollstränare och före detta fotbollsspelare. Hans senaste tränaruppdrag var som förbundskapten för Kameruns landslag.

Seedorf är en av få spelare som har vunnit UEFA Champions League med tre olika klubbar, AFC Ajax (1995), Real Madrid (1998) och AC Milan (2003, 2007).

Klubbkarriär

Seedorf startade sin seniorkarriär i den nederländska klubben AFC Ajax som höger mittfältare. Den 29 november 1992 debuterade han för A-laget mot FC Groningen vid 16 års ålder. 1995 vann han Champions League som innermittfältare med Edgar Davids.

Han skrev kontrakt med italienska Sampdoria som trots sina blyga meriter hade ett starkt satsande lag med spelare som Juan Sebastián Verón, Vincenzo Montella och Christian Karembeu. Seedorf spelade en säsong (32 ligamatcher) för i Blucerchiati innan han flyttade till Spanien och storklubben Real Madrid.

Seedorf var en viktig kugge i Fabio Capellos lagbygge när han vann ligan med Real Madrid säsongen 1996–97. Under sin andra säsong för Los Blancos lyckades Seedorf vinna sin andra medalj i Champions League.

Tisdag 14 januari 2014 skrev han på som tränare för AC Milan, klubben där han tillbringade 10 år som spelare. Samtidigt avslutade han sitt spelarkontrakt med Botafogo och även sin hela sin spelarkarriär.

Tränarkarriär

Trots bra resultat med Milan fick Seedorf lämna tränarposten efter fyra månader till förmån för sin före detta lagkamrat, Filippo Inzaghi. Efter kortare sejourer i kinesiska Shenzhen FC och La liga-klubben Deportivo La Coruña tog Seedorf 2018 över som förbundskapten för Kameruns landslag. Landsmannen och före detta lagkamraten Patrick Kluivert fick rollen som assisterande tränare.[1] Efter att laget åkt ut tidigt i slutspelen i Afrikanska mästerskapen 2019 blev Seedorf och Kluivert sparkade från sina uppdrag.[2]
