Fylochinón alebo vitamín K1 je jednou z aktívnych foriem vitamínu K. Obsahuje chinónové jadro a dlhý nepolárny bočný reťazec.

Fylochinón sa vyskytuje v rastlinách, baktérií sa vyskytuje menachinón (vitamín K2).[1]

Charakteristika

Fylochinón patrí do skupiny vitamínov rozpustných v tukoch. Nie je citlivý na teplo, ale podlieha zmenám pôsobením silných kyselín a oxidantov.

Výskyt

Hlavným zdrojom je plnotučné mlieko, karfiol, vaječné žĺtok, ryža, špenát, sójový olej a paradajky.

Vplyv na zdravie

Fylochinón je dôležitý faktor zrážania krvi. Odporúčaná denná dávka je 1 mg.

Prejavy nedostatku fylochinónu

Mierna hypovitaminóza sa prejavuje spomalenou zrážanlivosťou krvi. Extrémna hypovitaminóza spôsobuje krvácavosť a anémiu.
