Amy Beth Dziewiontkowski (* 3. máj 1968, New York, New York, USA) profesionálne známa ako Amy Ryan, je americká herečka. Je známa svojou rozsiahlou divadelnou a filmovou kariérou. V roku 2007 získala nomináciu na Academy Awards, za jej herecký výkon vo filme Zbohom, baby.

Detstvo a mladosť

Narodila sa do rodiny Pamely Ryan (neskôr si prevzala umelecké meno po svojej matke) a Johna Dziewiontkowského. Má anglických, poľských a írskych predkov. Má sestru Lauru, s ktorou si v detstve privyrábala roznášaním novín Daily News. V sedemnástich rokoch absolvovala NYC Performing Arts School. Od ukončenia školy pracuje v divadlách mimo Broadway.

Kariéra

Účinkovala v niekoľkých divadelných hrách mimo Broadway, tiež v regionálnych divadlách a aj priamo na Broadwayi. V rokoch 2000 a 2005 získala nominácie za svoje divadelné herecké výkony na ocenenie Tony Awards. V roku 2016 získala pozitívne hodnotenie za jej herecký výkon v divadelnom predstavení Láska, láska, láska, získala tiež divadelné ocenenie Obie, tiež nominácie na Drama Desk a Drama League za najlepší divadelný výkon.

V roku 2000 si tiež zahrala po boku Laury Linney a Marka Ruffala vo filme, Na mňa sa môžeš spoľahnúť. V roku 2003 bola obsadená do jednej z vedľajších úloh v televíznom seriály The Wire. Herec a režisér Albert Brooks, si ju vybral aby si zahrala v jeho režírovanej komédii, Hľadá sa komédia v moslimskom svete.

V roku 2007 stvárnila rolu drogovo závislej matky vo filme Zbohom, baby. Jej herecký výkon bol pozitívne prijatý filmovými kritikmi, tiež získala niekoľko nominácii napríklad na Academy Awards či Zlatý glóbus a niekoľko z nich, tiež získala, napríklad Satelite Awards či Critics' Choice Movie Award. O rok neskôr, ju obsadil Clint Eastwood, do filmu Výmena, kde si zahrala po boku Angeliny Jolie.

V roku 2011 získala hlavnú ženskú úlohu vo filme Win Win, ktorý dostal priemerné recenzie a Ryanová získala niekoľko hereckých ocenení regionálnych filmových kritikov. V roku 2014 sa pripojila k hereckému obsadeniu filmu Birdman.

Po boku Stevea Carella a Timotheého Chalameta, si zahrala v životopisnej dráme Krásny chlapec, z roku 2018. O rok neskôr, si zahrala po boku Emmy Thompson v komédii Late Night. V roku 2020 stvárnila hlavnú úlohu v dráme Lost Girls. V roku 2021 sa pripojila k hereckému obsadeniu televízneho seriálu Only Murders in the Building.

Súkromný život

V roku 2011 sa vydala za Erica Slovina, s ktorým má dcéru, narodenú v októbri 2009.
