Эмилия (англ. Emilia) — персонаж трагедии Уильяма Шекспира «Отелло», впервые поставленной на сцене в 1604 году. Это жена Яго, венецианского офицера, служащего под началом Отелло, и служанка жены Отелло Дездемоны. Эмилия впервые появляется (без имени) в новелле Джиральди Чинтио «Венецианский мавр» из сборника «Сто рассказов» (1566). Шекспир, сделавший эту новеллу своим источником, сохранил основную событийную канву, но существенно изменил и обогатил образы главных героев[1]. Эмилия в его изображении — легкомысленная женщина, которая к концу пьесы вырастает над собой. Она разоблачает интригана-мужа и погибает[2].

Эмилия стала героиней множества фильмов, снятых по пьесе Шекспира. Британская актриса Джойс Редман за роль Эмилии в фильме 1965 года была номинирована на «Оскар» как лучшая актриса второго плана.
