  • 28 января — в Ростов прибывает новый епископ Пахомий, духовник Константина Всеволодовича[1].
  • Состоялся последний известный по источникам Половецкий набег на Русь, когда половцы разорили окрестности Переяславля и взяли в плен переяславсколго князя Владимира Всеволодовича. По­сле это­го, в свя­зи с из­ме­не­ни­ем си­туа­ции в сте­пи и уси­ле­ни­ем монгольской уг­ро­зы, Половецкие набеги пре­кра­ти­лись, хо­тя в во­енных ме­ро­прия­ти­ях русских кня­зей по­лов­цы уча­ст­во­ва­ли вплоть до 2-й половины 1230-х гг. [2].
  • 3 мая (по В.Н. Татищеву) — Ярослав Всеволодович, после ухода оттуда Мстислава Мстиславича Удатного в 1214 году, приезжает в Великий Новгород, где его торжественно встречает архиепископ Антоний[3].
  • 1215—1216 — Ярослав Всеволодович становится первый раз новгородским князем[4].
  • 21 мая — Ярослав Всеволодович в Новгороде арестовывает новгородского боярина Якуна Зуболомича и новоторжского посадника Фому Доброщинича и отправляет их в оковах в Тверь, затем хватает Христофора, сына тысяцкого Якуна Намнежича и многих видных новгородских бояр, а сам уходит в Торжок и устанавливает торговую и продовольственную блокаду Новгорода, в котором и без того начинается голод из-за случившегося неурожая. Новгородцы дважды посылают к нему послов, желая примирения, но Ярослав продолжает действовать по-прежнему, что приводит к войне и его отставке в 1216 году[3].
  • Владимир Рюрикович на короткое время в третий раз становится переяславским князем, которое вернул в следующем году (1216-1218)[5].
  • Владимир Рюрикович становится смоленским князем[6].
  • Константин Всеволодович закладывает на княжеском дворе в Ярославле церковь Успения Пресвятой Богородицы[1].
