11. mistrzostwa świata w łyżwiarstwie szybkim w wieloboju kobiet odbyły się w dniach 21–22 lutego 1953 roku w norweskim Lillehammer. Zawodniczki startowały na naturalnym lodowisku na Lillehammer Stadion. Łyżwiarki startowały na czterech dystansach: 500 m, 1000 m, 3000 m, 5000 m. Mistrzynią świata została reprezentantka ZSRR Chalida Szczegolejewa. O tym, które miejsca zajmowały zawodniczki decydowała mniejsza liczba punktów uzyskana z czterech biegów.
