Sant Alban dels Hurtières (de còps de Hurtières) a situat en lo costat de Aiguebelle, en la vallée de la Mauriana. La municipalitat s'estend del caulet del Portamantèl a 2000 mètres fins a la plana de las Hurtières situada en la vallée. Un plànol d'aiga i a condicionat. La municipalitat es en granda part recoberta de bòsques de résineux. Lo caulet del Grand Cucheron permet una dubertura sus la vallée dels Òlis. De per la siá posicion ideala, Sant Alban constituissi un luòc o fa bon viure (sustot en lo moment de la vogue).

Saint Alban d'Hurtières (avant 2013 Saint-Alban-des-Hurtières) est situé dans le canton d'Aiguebelle, dans la vallée de la Maurienne. La commune s'étend du col de la Perche à 2000 mètres jusqu'à la plaine des Hurtières située dans la vallée. Un plan d'eau y est aménagé. La commune est en grande partie recouverte de forêts de résineux. Le col du Grand Cucheron permet une ouverture sur la vallée des Huiles. De par sa position idéale, Saint Alban constitue un lieu ou il fait bon vivre (notamment lors de la vogue).
