Gustav Philipp Wedel-Jarlsbergs våpenskjold

Gustav Philipp Wedel-Jarlsberg til Philippsburg, Evenburg og Nesse (1706–1738) var en tysk baron.

Gustav Philipp var sønn av senere kommanderende general i Norge, Erhard Frederik Wedel-Jarlsberg og riksgrevinne Maria Juliane Freydag til Gödens. Han ble dansk hoffjunker og adelig assessor ved det østfrisiske hoff.[3]

Han giftet seg i september 1729 med Magdalene Elisabet friherreinne von Closter. Året etter lot han i Øst-Friesland oppføre en trefløyet enetasjes bygning med høyt mansardtak som ble navngitt Philipps-Burg.[4] Her døde han i 1738, mens enken døde samme sted i 1762. De ble begge bisatt i familiekrypten i Reformierte Kirche i Loga, hvor Gustav Philipps sarkofag stadig kan ses.[5]
