Graptodytes er en slekt av biller og tilhører familiegruppen vannkalver.

Utseende

Små (gjerne 3-4 millimeter), bredt ovale vannkalver, gjerne svarte med gule tegninger eller gulbrune med svarte tegninger.

Levevis

Både de voksne billene og larvene, er rovdyr. De lever i ferskvann og kan finnes i dammer i høytliggende elver eller bekker.

Utbredelse

Slekten er utbredt i Europa inkludert Kanariøyene, Nord-Afrika og Nord-Amerika (innført fra Europa?).
