«Season of the Witch» er ein av dei første pskyedeliske songane, skriven av Donovan og først gjeven ut i september 1966 på hans Epic Records-album, Sunshine Superman. I Storbritannia vart ein coverversjon av The Pandamonium gjeven ut som singel i november 1966 (CBS 202462)[1], medan Dononvan si utgåve først kom ut i juni 1967 på Pye Records-samlinga Sunshine Superman.

På songen spelar Bobby Ray bass og «Fast» Eddie Hoh trommer.[2] Songen varer 4:56, som er uvanleg for denne tida då ein typisk popsong vanlegvis varte kring 2:30.
