Bašaras al-Asadas (arab. بشار الأسد; g. 1965 m. liepos 16 d. Damaske) – Sirijos politikas ir karininkas, ėjęs 19-ojo Sirijos prezidento pareigas nuo 2000 m. liepos mėn. iki nuvertimo 2024 m. gruodžio mėn.

Biografija

1988 m. baigė Damasko universitetą, įgijo oftalmologo specialybę. Studijavo Vokietijoje ir Didžiojoje Britanijoje. 1999–2000 m. Liaudies gvardijos vadas. Nuo 2000 m. Sirijos prezidentas.[1]

Po protestų siekiant nuversti Bašarą al-Asadą kilo Sirijos pilietinis karas. 2024 m. gruodį sukilėliams užėmus Damaską, al-Asadas paliko postą ir pasitraukė į Rusiją.[2]
