할레(독일어: Halle) 또는 할레 (잘레)(독일어: Halle (Saale)), 할레안데어잘레(독일어: Halle an der Saale)는 독일 동부 작센안할트주에 있는 도시이다. 인구 234,295(2007).

엘베강의 지류인 잘레강 연안에 위치한다. 라이프치히에서 서북쪽으로 40km 떨어져 있다. 독일에서 오래된 도시 가운데 하나로, 이 곳을 중심으로 청동기와 철기 문화가 형성된 것으로 알려져 있다. 암염이 풍부하여 소금을 얻기 쉬워 정착이 일렀다.

역사 시대 이후로는 9세기에 처음 문헌에 언급되었고, 10세기에 마그데부르크의 대주교 관할하에 들어갔다. 할로렌(Halloren)으로 불리는 소금 제조업자와 일반인들 사이에 대립이 있었으나, 마그데부르크 대주교 관할에서 벗어나 중세 시대에는 자유 한자 동맹 도시로 특권을 누렸다. 16세기에 비텐베르크에서 일어난 루터의 종교 개혁을 받아들였다. 그 후 1694년 할레 대학교가 개교하였고, 이 대학은 비텐베르크의 대학과 합병하여 현재 할레 비텐베르크 마르틴 루터 대학교로 이어져오고 있다. 작곡가 게오르크 프리드리히 헨델이 1685년 이 곳에서 태어나 할레는 헨델의 도시로도 유명하다.
