მთიანი ყარაბაღის რესპუბლიკის თავდაცვის არმია (სომხ. Արցախի Հանրապետության պաշտպանության բանակ) — ოფიციალური თავდაცვთ ძალა, მთიანი ყარაბაღის დე ფაქტო რესპუბლიკაში. დაარსდა 1992 წელს, და აერთიანებდა ადრე დეზორგანიზებულ თვითმმართველურ ერთეულებს, რომლებიც ჩამოყალიბდა 90-იანი წლების დასაწყისში. მისი ჩამოყალიბების მთავარი მიზეზე იყო ის, რომ რეგიონში დაცული ყოფილიყო ეთნიკური სომეხი მოსახლეობა, საბჭოთა და აზერბაიჯანის შეიარაღებული ძალების თავდასხმებისგან.[1] მთიანი ყარაბაღის თავდაცვის არმია ამჟამად შედგება დაახლოებით 20 000 კარგად გაწვრთნილი და აღჭურვილი ოფიცრისა და ჯარისკაცისგან და ინარჩუნებს „მუდმივ მზადყოფნას, ასევე ისინი უფრო სერიოზულ საბრძოლო მომზადებასა და ოპერაციულ სავარჯიშოებს გადიან, ვიდრე სხვა ყოფილი საბჭოთა არმები“.[2] აზერბაიჯანის ამჟამინდელმა პრეზიდენტმა ილჰამ ალიევმა განაცხადა, რომ მთიანი ყარაბაღის თავდაცვის არმიის ჯარისკაცების 80%, ფაქტობრივად, სომხეთის მოქალაქეა.[3]

ისტორია

მთიანი ყარაბაღის რესპუბლიკის არმია დაარსდა 1992 წლის 9 მაისს. მან შექმნა „საკუთარი ცენტრალური სარდლობა და სამხედრო სტრუქტურა, რომელიც განსხვავდება სომხური არმიისაგან“.[4] მის დამფუძნებლებში შედიოდნენ: რობერტ ქოჩარიანი (სომხეთის ყოფილი პრეზიდენტი, იგი იყო არმიის პირველი მთავარსარდალი);[5] სერჟ სარგსიანი (ყოფილი პრემიერ მინისტრი და პრეზიდენტი);[5] ვაზგენ სარქისიანი (სომხეთის თავდაცვის მინისტრი 1992-1993 წლებში, სახელმწიფო მინისტრი თავდაცვის საქმეში 1993-1995, სომხეთის პრემიერ მინისტრი 1998-1999);[5] მონტე მელქონიანი ( პასუხისმგებელია მარტუნის პროვინციაზე);[6] სამველ ბაბაიანი (მთიანი ყარაბაღის თავდაცვის მინისტრი 1994 წლიდან 2000 წლამდე) და სხვები.[5] ბევრი ადამიანი, ვინც მსახურობდა თავის რიგებში ყარაბაღის ომის დროს, საბჭოთა სამხედროების ვეტერანებად ითვლებოდნენ და განსხვავებულად იბრძოდნენ საბჭოთა-ავღანეთის ომში..[2]

1994 წელს მთიანი ყარაბაღის ომის დასრულების შემდეგ მთიანი ყარაბაღის თავდაცვის არმიის მთავარ როლს წარმოადგენს საგარეო და საშინაო საფრთხეებისგან რეგიონის დაცვა. მიუხედავად იმისა, რომ ომი დასრულდა სომხეთთან, მთიანი ყარაბაღსა და აზერბაიჯანს შორის ცეცხლის შეწყვეტის შეთანდმებით, ასევე ყარაბაღის დე ფაქტო დამოუკიდებლობა, აზერბაიჯანის ხელმძღვანელობა არაერთხელ იმუქრებოდა რეგიონის დასაბრუნებლად საომარი მოქმედებების დაწყების შესახებ.[7] ცეცხლის შეწყვეტის დარღვევები კონტაქტის ხაზთან საკმაოდ ხშირია და ხშირად თითქმის ყოველწლიურად ხდება რამდენიმე ჯარისკაცსაი და მშვიდობიანი მოქალაქის დაღუპვა. ცეცხლის შეწყვეტის ერთ-ერთი ყველაზე მნიშვნელოვანი დარღვევა მოხდა ქალაქ მარტაკეტში, 2008 წლის 8 მარტს, როდესაც დაიღუპა თექვსმეტი ჯარისკაცი. ორივე მხარე ერთმანეთს ადანაშაულებს ბრძოლის დაწყებაში.[8] 2010 წლის ივნისში ხაზზე, სომეხ და აზერბაიჯანულ ჯარებს შორის ახალი შეტაკებები მოხდა, რის შედეგადაც ოთხი სომეხი სამხედრო დაიღუპა.[9] 2014 წლის ზაფხულში შეტაკებებმა ექვსი სომეხი და ცამეტი აზერბაიჯანული სამხედრო მოსამსახურე შეიწირა. 2014 წლის 12 ნოემბერს მთიანი ყარაბაღის თავდაცვის არმიის Mi-24 თავდასხმის ვერტმფრენმა, რომელიც მონაწილეობდა 2014 წლის ერთკვირიან სამხედრო წვრთნებში, აზერბაიჯანელმა სამხედროებმა ჩამოაგდეს და დაიღუპა ეკიპაჟის სამივე წევრი. 2016 წლის 1 აპრილს დაიწყო ომის მსგავსი შეტაკებები; რამდენიმე წყაროს თანახმად, ეს ყველაზე უარესი იყო 1994 წლიდან მოყოლებული.
