იგორ დიაკონოვი (რუს. И́горь Миха́йлович Дья́конов) (დ. 1915, 12 იანვარი — გ. 1999, 2 მაისი) — რუსი ისტორიკოსი, ენათმეცნიერი, ძველი ახლო აღმოსავლეთის ისტორიისა და ენების გამოჩენილი ექსპერტი.

ბიოგრაფია

დიაკონოვი აღიზარდა ნორვეგიაში. 1938 წელს დაამთავრა ლენინგრადის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტი. იმავე წელს ერმიტაჟის მუზეუმის თანამშრომელი გახდა. 1949 წელს გამოაქვეყნა ვრცელი კველვა ასირიის შესახებ, რასაც 1956 წელს მოჰყვა მონოგრაფია მიდიაზე. მოგვიანებით, სერგეი სტაროსტინთან ერთად, იკვლევდა კავკასიურ, აფრაზიულ და ჰურო-ურარტულ ენებს.
