ენდი გარსია (ესპ. Andrés Arturo García Menéndez; დ. 12 აპრილი 1956, ბეხუკალი — კუბა) — ამერიკელი მსახიობი, კინორეჟისორი და კინოპროდიუსერი. პრემია ALMA-ს ნომინანტი (2007 წ.) საუკეთესო სარეჟისორო ნამუშევრისთვის ფილმისთვის „დაკარგული ქალაქი“.

ბიოგრაფია

ენდი გარსია დაიბადა 1956 წლის 12 აპრილს ქალაქ ჰავანაში. როდესაც მას 5 წელი შეუსრულდა მისი ოჯახი ქვეყანაში დატრიალებული რევოლუციის გამო იძულებული გახდა ემიგრირებული ამერიკის შეერთებულ შტატებში. დედამისი ამელი მენენდესი ოყო ინგლისური ენის მასწავლებელი, ხოლო მამამისი რენე გარსია ფერმერი, რომელიც ავოკადოზე მუშაობდა. მოგვიანებით მან აშშ-ში გახსნა სხვადასხვა არომატების ბიზნესი.[1][2] ბავშვობიდანვე კალათბურთელობაზე ოცნებობდა. ენდი გარსიამ დაამთავრა ფლორიდის საერთაშორისო უნივერსიტეტი.[3] 1978 წელს გარსია საცხოვრებლად ლოს-ანჟელესში გადადის, გამოიდიოდა დამოუკიდებელ თეატრალურ ჯგუფებში. შემდეგ დროდარდო იღებდა მცირე როლებს ტელევიზიაშიც. 1980-იანი წწ. დასაწყისში მონაწილეობა მიიღო რამდენიმე ტელესერიალში.

მისი კინოკარიერა სწორედ 1980-იანი წლებიდან იწყება. ამ პერიოდში შესრულებული კინოროლებიდან აღსანიშნავია: „რვა მილიონი ხერხი თუ როგორ უნდა მოკვდე“, „ხელშეუხებელნი“, „შავი წვიმა“. 80-იან წწ. ენდი გარსიას უმთავრესად სერიოზულ როლებში უწევდა გამოსვლა. წარმატებით გაგრძელდა მისი კინოკარიერა 1990-იან წლებშიც. 1990 წელს მიიღო როლი კინოში „ნათლიმამა III“, ხოლო 1995 წელს „რით დაკავდეს მკვდარი დენვერში“.

ერთ-ერთი საუკეთესო როლი შეასრულა ფილმში „მოდილიანი“, სადაც იტალიელი მხატვრის ამადეო მოდილიანის სახე განასახიერა. მნიშვნელოვანი იყო ასევე მისი როლები ფილმებში: „ამნეზია“, „ჰაერი ,რომლითაც ვსუნთქავ“ და სხვ.
