ტიმოთი პიკერინგი (ინგლ. Timothy Pickering; დ. 17 ივლისი, 1745 — გ. 29 იანვარი, 1829) — აშშ-ის მესამე სახელმწიფო მდივანი, ამ პოსტზე მსახურობდა 1795 წლიდან 1800 წლამდე, ორ პრეზიდენტთან ჯორჯ ვაშინგტონთან და ჯონ ადამსთან.

პიკერინგი დაიბადა სალემში, მასაჩუსეტსის შტატში, ტიმოთი და მერი უინგეიტ პიკერინგების ოჯახში.[1] 1763 წელს დაამთავრა ჰარვარდის უნივერსიტეტი. თავიდან იგი რევოლუციონერებს ოპიზიციაში ედგა, თუმცა 1777 წელს მან მიიღო გენერალ ჯორჯ ვაშინგტონის შეთავაზება, ემსახურა გენერალ ადიუტანტად, მან დიდი წვლილი შეიტანა რევოლუციის გამარჯვებაში.

1780 წელს კონტინენტურმა კონგრესმა პიკერინგი გენერალ-კვარტირმეისტერად,[2] ხოლო 1791 წელს ვაშინგტონმა ფოსტის ხელმძღვანელად დანიშნა.[1] იგი ამ პოსტზე 1795 წლამდე მუშაობდა. დროებით ომის მდივანი იყო, ხოლო 1795-1800 წლებში სახელმწიფო მდივანი.

1803 წელს ის გახდა აშშ სენატის წევრი, ფედერალისტთა პარტიიდან. 1812 წელს სენატორობიდან წასვლის შემდეგ ის არჩეულ იქნა წარმომადგენელთა პალატაში, სადაც მოღვაწეობდა 1817 წლამდე. 1815 წელს აირჩიეს ხელოვნებისა და მეცნიერებისა ამერიკული აკადემიის წევრად.[3]

1816 წლიდან იგი დაბრუნდა სალემში, სადაც ფერმერობას მიჰყო ხელი და სიცოცხლის ბოლომდე იქ ცხოვრობდა. გარდაიცვალა 1829 წლის 29 იანვარს, 83 წლის ასაკში.
