ファウスト・グレシーニ（Fausto Gresini、1961年1月23日 - 2021年2月23日）は、イタリア・イモラ出身の元モーターサイクル・ロードレースライダー。1985年と1987年のロードレース世界選手権125ccクラスチャンピオン。MotoGPクラスに参戦するグレシーニ・レーシングを運営していた。

経歴

1978年、17歳の時にミナレリの50ccマシンでレースを始める。1983年にはMBAチームからロードレース世界選手権125ccクラスにデビューを果たした。

グレシーニは1994年までの12年間125ccクラスに参戦し、1985年と1987年の2度世界チャンピオンに輝いた。特に1987年は開幕から10連勝 (125ccクラス最多記録) という圧倒的な強さを見せ、最終戦ハラマに勝てばシリーズ全勝だったが、そのレースではクラッシュしてしまった。また1986年から1987年にかけては11連勝を達成しており、これはアンヘル・ニエトと並ぶ史上最多タイ記録である。

引退後は自らがオーナーのチーム「グレシーニ・レーシング」を設立し、ロードレース世界選手権に参戦していた。2001年には加藤大治郎が同チームで250ccクラスのワールドチャンピオンを獲得するなどホンダの有力サテライトチームを運営していたが、2015年以降はアプリリアにマシンを切り替えていた。

2020年12月末、新型コロナウイルスに感染し27日にはイタリア・イモラの病院に入院。年末にはボローニャの新型コロナウイルス専門病棟に移され、医学的に昏睡状態に置かれ人工呼吸器を繋がれた状態となった。 2021年1月初旬に改善の兆しを見せ一時は昏睡からも目覚めていたものの、同月下旬に肺炎の影響が深刻な状態となり、2021年2月23日朝、新型コロナウイルス感染症（COVID-19）による肺炎のため、死去した[1]。60歳没。
