地理

市内北西部の小糸川下流右岸、JR内房線の北側に位置する。地内は君津市中心部から木更津市南部にわたって広がる市街地の一部で、東端に山林があるほかは住宅地である。

北で木更津市畑沢南、東で北子安および久保（飛地）、南で北久保・高坂、西で坂田とそれぞれ接する（特記ないものは君津市）。

地内西側に1丁目、南東側に2丁目、北東側に3丁目が所在する。
