古城武司

古城 武司（こしろ たけし[1]、1938年12月10日 - 2006年2月8日）は、日本の漫画家。広島県呉市（旧・豊田郡）安浦町三津口出身。

略歴

1958年に上京[1]。1960年、講談社の雑誌『なかよし』の懸賞漫画に応募し入賞。同誌に『花の子マリ』を発表しデビュー。 吉田竜夫のアシスタントも務めていた[2][3]。

1966年に妹が結婚して、漫画家の望月三起也と姻戚になる[4]。

1970年代には『超人バロム・1』、『流星人間ゾーン』、『勇者ライディーン』、『伝説巨神イデオン』などのコミカライズで活躍[5][6]。集英社の伝記物の学習漫画も手掛けた[7]。代表作は1973年から連載した『おれとカネやん』[5][6]。

舌癌を病み鎖骨まで転移したが、絵が描けなくなるという理由で手術を拒み[8]、2006年2月8日に死去[7]。
