Renzo Uzzecchini (Sestri Levante, 11 giugno 1935 – Sestri Levante, 28 giugno 2022[5]) è stato un calciatore e allenatore di calcio italiano, di ruolo attaccante.

Carriera

La sua carriera di calciatore comincia negli allievi della Pro Sestri di Cà di Ferrèe con il partigiano "Scevola" come dirigente tuttofare. A 15 anni passa all'Aurora Riva Trigoso mentre negli anni seguenti gioca con Sampdoria[6], Catania (in prestito[7]), Mantova[8], Parma, Anconitana e Entella. In carriera ha totalizzato complessivamente 16 presenze in Serie A con Sampdoria e Mantova, andando a segno nella vittoria interna dei virgiliani col Lecco della stagione 1961-62, oltre ad 84 presenze e 27 reti in Serie B.

Una volta terminata la carriera di calciatore, diventa allenatore guidando squadre di campionati professionistici come Mantova, Livorno, Pro Vasto[9] ed Olbia. Diventa poi l'allenatore del settore giovanile della Sampdoria per 11 anni.

Dal 1990 diventa docente a Coverciano nei corsi per allenatori del settore tecnico per il conseguimento del diploma B UEFA. Tra i suoi numerosi allievi ci sono Franco Baresi e i C.T. della Nazionale Italiana Roberto Donadoni, Roberto Mancini, Antonio Conte.

Per diverse stagioni è stato responsabile tecnico del settore giovanile del Sestri Levante.
